crap. a republican is in the house. my state, my lovely red state, voted its true colors again yesterday. palin it is. when will home ever be the utopia i want it to be? (of course, utopia does not equal blue, but hell, at this point i´d settle for libertarian...)

Yep, everyone I voted for in Alaska yesterday lost. Such an impoverished political culture in this state!

Ok, and yet, the reps lost like 30 seats, and both houses. It's been a good day for the U.S.A. We can forgive Alaska.. even for Ted "Series of Tubes" Stevens.

i guess i´m glad someone is floating on a cloud of euphoria about the elections. but i think it´s a little premature, also, while any anti-war sentiment and political movement is welcome news i´m more worried about economic policies...the results of which are so patently, painfully obvious here...
