there is the sun on the Chugach at dusk. around 4 pm. it is good to be home, among snow and friends and the warm winter light. of course, there's the nagging thought that home is no longer home, that i've been away too long this time...friends change, buy houses, have babies, get married, have new partners...and i am somehow suspended within it all. watching. walking.
